About Jim Meier

I am Jim Meier, known as the Championship Thinking Coach. I've been an organization development consultant, trainer, and coach in leadership, life transition, and sports psychology since 1975, working both nationally and internationally. My career began at Union Pacific Railroad in 1976, where I developed various Executive Development programs and Total Quality Improvement applications. In 1991, I founded the Training and Consulting Connection, serving over 500 clients, including major corporations and government agencies.

I've authored children's books, sports psychology workbooks, co-authored a workbook with Michael Maccoby, and hosted the radio talk show "Championship Thinking in Sports." Recognized as one of Leadership Excellence Magazine's “Top 100 Minds in Personal Leadership,” I also co-founded the non-profit Honor and Remember Nebraska Chapter and have been involved in various philanthropic efforts. I'm a veteran of the USAF and hold degrees in Economics and International Studies and Leadership.
